TEEN SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY – EQUALS A LIFE SENTENCE

Many people are totally unaware of the potential passage of a House Bill before State Legislators in Tennessee, but many Juvenile Sex offenders are following the debate over the bill very closely. If this bill passes it could mean devastating consequences for convicted teen sex offenders.

State Rep. Debra Young Maggart, R-Hendersonville, introduced a bill last month that would require youths 14 or older to be placed onto a public registry for violent sexual offenses such as rape or attempted rape. The bill, House Bill 2789, also states that when the offenders turned 18, they would continue to have a record as an adult and would be placed on the adult registry.

The major issue with this bill if it makes its way to the Governor’s desk for signature is the fact that there are no concessions for reformed offenders, especially offenders convicted of statutory rape charges. Criminologist have clearly distinguished and separated predatory pedophiles from teen’s that violate state age requirement for legal consenting sex. According to this bill any sex crime committed regardless of the age of the offender will carry over as an adult felony charge.

Anthony Baltimore of the Support for Teen offender Network says that if this bill passes it will actually lead to an increase in crime rather than a reduction. He went on to say that many convicted teen offenders are now functioning as productive members of society with no other reoccurring offenses.

“I am not opposed to this law because I want sex offenders to fall through the cracks, but at the same time we are advocating for a second chance for reformed offenders. We are simply asking that the courts to consider the age of the offender and give them a fair chance to have productive life.”

The reality is this; we are slowly becoming a very barbaric society if we issue life sentences for offenses that took place when the offender was still considered a minor. If House Bill 2789 were to become the norm across this country, then as a nation we are placing a penalty on sex crimes higher than any other crime committed including the act murder.

As a nation we most punish those who show no regard for human rights, as well as reward previous offenders who are currently demonstrating that they now respect the boundaries that are required in order to exist within our communities.

Here is the good news for Reformed Offenders; Eraser Max 5.0 will help you remove negative online articles that are hindering your ability to find a job. Despite the fact that your name is in the registry, there are no laws preventing you from removing articles related to your case out of the view of potential employers.

TEEN SEX AWARENESS TEACHING SEX IN SCHOOL

Did your heart just start beating faster? Even the term “sex” or “family life education” brings panic, fear, and increases the heartbeat and sweat glands in most adults. However, once the panic subsides, the debate over whether to have sex education in American schools or not – is done. A new poll finds that over 90% of Americans say sex education should be taught in schools. According to the poll, the surveyed parents supported teaching 7th and 8th graders basic information on how babies are made, and 56 percent supported teaching all aspects of sex education, including birth control and safer sex in 7th and 8th grade, with a much higher percentage agreeing it should be taught in High School.

On the other hand, exactly who IS getting taught about sex? Unfortunately, the nationwide trend is that fewer young people are learning how to reduce the risk of getting a disease and preventing pregnancy. “The majority of school systems now focus on delaying sexual education as long as possible,” said Barbara Huberman, the director of education for Advocates for Youth, a pro-education group in Washington, D.C. “While you may get an overview of contraception in the seventh or eighth grade, there are many, many school systems that are afraid to talk about it at all.” It is in your best interest to speak with your parents of your intentions. Parents are the two most honest people in your life that will give sound advice. There may not be happy with your teen sex exploits, nonetheless they will be there for you, if you go against their better judgment. If you have only just met your partner, trust will not have matured yet, so wait. Sex can leave you feeling vulnerable, is this – what you want, a partner who has their wicked way with you and disappears into the night? Good sex happens with someone you love and trust, are content with, and who you can talk to openly about your feelings.

Who Should I Give a Toy Gift to?

Unfortunately (or perhaps, fortunately), there are some people that it just isn’t appropriate to give adult toys to! Your gift recipients could be:

Your boyfriend
Your girlfriend
A very close female friend (for girls)
A reasonably close friend as a group gift at hen’s parties, etc
Note that if you’re a girl buying for your boyfriend, it will be just as much of a gift for him to see you using a toy that you enjoy, as buying one specifically for him to use!

Which Toys Make Good Gifts?

Every toy might be fun to use, but not all make good gifts! Match your present to your audience with the following suggestions:

For boyfriends: Avoid anything that will make him feel insecure (penis pumps, cock rings, enormous oversized dildos, etc). Anal toys for him or you can be great buys to help you explore new frontiers together; remote control vibrators can also be fabulous fun for boys. If you want to buy something that’s technically for you, but he gets to enjoy the ‘benefits’ of, why not try lingerie, a Rabbit vibe or edible underwear.

For girlfriends: There are many, man toys out there, and a hundred different ways that you could expand the horizons of a previously vanilla-style girl. However, if you’re buying a toy as a surprise for your girlfriend, you should stick to what you already know she likes. If she hasn’t tried adult toys before, simple egg vibrators or dildos can help ease her into the idea. Alternatively, grab some lingerie for guys, a video on a topic you know she’s interested in, or a board game where sex is the prize!

For close female friends:Buy her something that she’d never get for herself – an extravagant vibrator/dildo combination, something to enjoy with her partner, or some luxurious lubes and lotions!

I am a School Nurse at a Middle School in a suburb of a large city. They teach about “abstinence” in a brief session. Then, on a daily basis, I get to deal with the student’s choices and mistakes. I hear stories that make me want to cry. I hear parents frequently say, “my daughter/son would never do that”, or “I don’t think (insert child’s name here) would ever have sex”. The all seem horrified at the thought. But, what I see and hear on consistently (and remember, this is middle school) tells a different story. Just so you don’t think my school is unusual, I read articles and stories from nurses all over the country that say the same thing.
I have girls coming to me fearing pregnancy (and some really are pregnant). Some of these same girls have had multiple partners (yes, they are only 12-14 years old and yes, some are a mandatory CPS/Law Enforcement call). Amazingly, these same girls will say statements like, “I know that you can get pregnant through oral sex, but I try to be careful”. They ARE too young to be having sex, but it is happening – and not infrequently. We may have grown up in a different time, and want to believe it can’t happen in our own home, but let me give you some hard statistics:
